Hello world! My name is Efe, and welcome to my website. I’m currently an undergraduate computer science student at the University of Edinburgh, and I opened this website to share my thoughts and experiences on things that are related to my interests like computer science, music and the entertainment industry, as well as to promote my work in related fields. You can check out my posts on specific categories by using the category menu at the top of this website. I like talking about my interests, so I thought why don’t I create a website to write down the things I talk about in a more structured way?
Alongside my studies, I also have a passion for music production, which led to the development of my electronic music project Sunset Phase in 2020 with the release of my first album “A Forgotten Tape” in that year. As of now I have 3 albums, 1 EP and 4 single releases on many music streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music. You can check out the links to my music and social media on the sidebar of this website. I will also share the progress on the music I produce and news about releases on this website as well under the “Promotion” category. I will also use this website to redirect to my personal projects and programming portfolio in the future as well.
In addition, the sidebar also includes links to my RYM, Letterboxd and Goodreads accounts for my occasional reviews of my favourite music, films and books respectively. When I publish a review in one of these platforms, I will announce it on my Twitter account which you can access and follow using the widgets on the sidebar and also at the bottom of the website where my social media widgets are located.
This website will work sort of like an archive and progression log. I’m planning on writing at least one article, essay or analysis on a chosen topic and publish it under its corresponding category every week and continue with it as long as I can with enough discipline. I really love writing things down and sharing knowledge, so I hope I can successfully continue filling this website with content that I find really cool and helpful. I am also looking forward to any comment on the content I publish, which you can write under the post with the comment box.
